About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
This role sits inside the Group Reporting Team, reporting directly to the Financial Reporting Lead, and acts as the anchor for a defined portfolio of close, consolidation, technical-accounting and SOX activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team on various monthly group reporting tasks and will own end-to-end ownership of various sub-processes within the Group close.
Your responsibilities will include:
Group close and consolidation
Own a defined slice of the monthly and quarterly Group consolidation under US GAAP including one-off transactions.
Lead onboarding of new entities into the consolidation (acquisitions, new SPVs, restructurings) — including functional currency analysis, chart-of-accounts mapping, and reporting package design
Prepare consolidation packs and supporting workpapers in close co-ordination with the Accounting Team.
Manage the close calendar for the in-scope portfolio
Technical accounting
Author or co-author technical-accounting memos covering transactions assigned to the role — including revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), leases (ASC 842 / IFRS 16), business combinations and asset acquisitions (ASC 805 / IFRS 3), financial instruments (ASC 326 / IFRS 9), share-based payments (ASC 718 / IFRS 2), restricted cash (ASC 230 / IAS 7) and functional currency (ASC 830 / IAS 21).
Lead the day-to-day auditor relationship on these positions with the Group Auditors; bring positions to the Financial Reporting Lead and Chief Accounting Officer for sign-off before external sharing.
Monitor new pronouncements (FASB ASUs, IASB exposure drafts and post-implementation reviews) and propose impact assessments to the Reporting Team.
SOX and internal controls
Operate and document a defined sub-set of the FSCP-REP control series.
Take ownership of designated SOX controls end-to-end — design, execution, evidence, deficiency and remediation
Drive design improvements and evidence-quality uplift on owned controls.
Be the first point of contact for SOX testing on owned controls.
External reporting
Contribute to the Form 20-F annual report, quarterly press releases and any half-year disclosures; own assigned footnotes end-to-end (drafting, support and audit clearance).
Support the Financial Reporting Lead on consolidated balance sheet and income statement review.
We expect you to have:
ACA, ACCA, CPA or local equivalent.
7+ years of minimum experience in accounting or financial reporting
2+ years of post-qualification experience in industry in an accounting or group reporting role.
Big 4 or top-tier mid-market firm trained.
Demonstrable, hands-on expertise in IFRS; US GAAP experience a strong plus given the Group's 20-F filing.
Multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation experience. NetSuite preferred; HFM, OneStream, SAP BFC, BPC or similar acceptable.
SOX knowledge is also ideal for this role.
Direct experience interfacing with Big 4 firms and component auditors on technical positions.
Strong written-English drafting memos, footnote disclosures, audit responses.
Competencies:
Self-directed; able to own a sub-process end-to-end without close supervision.
Comfortable operating in a fast-changing, post-IPO environment with evolving processes.
Stakeholder management across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A and Business teams.
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive compensation
Career growth and learning opportunities
Flexibility and work-life balance
Collaborative and innovative culture
Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
International environment and talented teams
