As an Air Operations Associate based in Manila, you'll join a foundational team helping to establish how Flexport delivers world-class air freight in one of Southeast Asia's most exciting markets. You'll coordinate daily with airlines, trucking partners, terminals, and internal teams to keep shipments moving — combining hands-on operations, customer service, and documentation work to deliver seamless supply chain execution.
What You'll Do
Shipment Execution
Manage end-to-end air export and import shipments, from booking through to final delivery
Liaise with shippers, consignees, and agents to arrange shipments in line with SOPs
Create and maintain shipment files, completing MAWBs and HAWBs with accuracy and timeliness
Submit AMS filings and EDI transmissions (FHL/FWB) as required
Ensure all activities comply with international shipping regulations, company policies, and customer SOPs
Billing & Documentation
Issue invoices to clients and agents promptly and accurately
Review and confirm incoming subcontractor invoices within agreed timelines
Customer Service
Respond to customer requests, advices, and claims with timely, professional communication
Coordinate with overseas partners and internal teams to resolve issues and fulfil special requests
Deliver first-class service across every touchpoint — email, phone, and system
Data & Systems
Maintain data accuracy and timely milestone updates across Flexport systems to meet KPIs and SLAs
Handle customer statistics, reports, and system-related requests
Team & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with account management and customs teams for smooth end-to-end operations
Flag irregularities and escalate issues to senior staff when needed
Identify process improvement opportunities and support teammates as the team grows
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in air operations or a related freight forwarding/logistics role
Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
Detail-oriented and structured, with a strong eagerness to learn
Tech-savvy with a genuine curiosity for new platforms, tools, and systems
Customer-first mindset — responsive, professional, and solution-oriented
