You’ll sit at the intersection of technology, consulting, and execution, helping customers understand what’s possible, define the right solution, and get it working in the real world. You’ll lead customer engagements from discovery through launch, working closely with customer operators and technical teams as well as Retell’s Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. This is a highly hands-on role. You’ll be expected to understand the customer’s business, solve ambiguous problems, build and test solutions, and keep projects moving. The goal isn’t just to make a deployment work — it’s to make sure the customer gets real value from it. We’re looking for candidates who are fluent in both Mandarin and English, with the communication skills to work effectively with customers and internal teams across both languages. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead customer deployments from initial discovery through production launch. - Work directly with customers to understand their workflows, pain points, and business goals. - Translate customer requirements into practical AI workflows and implementation plans. - Build and configure voice AI agents, conversation flows, and automation workflows. - Help customers integrate Retell with their existing systems, APIs, and business processes. - Troubleshoot technical issues across integrations, APIs, webhooks, telephony, authentication, and production deployments. - Run customer working sessions, demos, technical discussions, and implementation reviews. - Work closely with Sales during discovery, solution design, and customer evaluations. - Partner with Product and Engineering to resolve customer issues and communicate product gaps. - Track project progress, identify risks, and keep deployments moving toward launch. - Help customers test, iterate, and optimize their agents before and after production. - Identify opportunities to expand Retell into additional use cases and teams. - Capture learnings from deployments and turn them into repeatable playbooks and best practices. - Become a subject matter expert in Retell’s platform, voice AI, and best practices for deploying AI agents.
