About this role

About Parloa Parloa’s mission is to make every customer conversation feel effortless for both customers and the companies serving them. As agentic AI accelerates, Parloans are shaping the foundation of a new era in customer experience, one where customer support is no longer transactions, but meaningful exchanges. It is not just a vision; Parloa has powered over ONE BILLION interactions between global enterprise brands and their customers, with companies like Booking.com , HealthEquity, Allianz, SAP, BarmeniaGothaer, and TUI already deploying Parloa at scale.  About the role: As an SAP Integration Engineer at Parloa, you will be at the forefront of one of our most strategic partnerships, building the technical bridges between Parloa's conversational AI platform and the SAP ecosystem. Your mission is to design, implement, and operationalize integrations that connect Parloa to SAP environments across our most important enterprise customers and partners. You will be the field-facing SAP expert embedded in complex integration projects, owning the end-to-end technical path from business requirement to production integration, across SAP BTP, S/4HANA, ECC, Service Cloud, and CRM. You will work closely with Parloa's Forward Deployed Engineering team and help build the foundation for a dedicated SAP-focused delivery practice. This is a hands-on integration role at the intersection of enterprise SAP architecture, conversational AI, and customer-facing delivery. You won't just advise—you will design and build. Areas of ownership: Own SAP integration projects end-to-end: Lead the technical design and execution of integrations between Parloa and SAP environments, from PoC through production go-live. Design scalable integration architecture : Define integration patterns using SAP BTP (Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh), OData/REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware layers connecting SAP backends (S/4HANA, ECC, Service Cloud, CRM) to Parloa's AI platform. Build and configure integration flows: Implement iFlows, API connectors, and data transformations that enable Parloa agents to read from and write to SAP systems covering use cases such as order management, customer data, case management, and transactional queries. Navigate enterprise SAP constraints: Work within customer environments that have strict security policies, complex authorization models (SAP IAS, OAuth2), and regulated data handling requirements, proposing pragmatic, production-grade connectivity solutions. Partner deeply with customer and SAP engineers: Collaborate directly with customer SAP Basis, BTP, and application teams, as well as SAP's own technical teams, to align architectures, test plans, and rollout procedures. Support partner enablement : Help system integrators and SAP partners build and deliver Parloa-SAP integrations independently Shape the integration practice: Translate recurring field experience into standardized approaches, accelerators, and playbooks that improve repeatability and reduce delivery time across similar engagements. Provide structured product feedback: Identify gaps between Parloa's integration capabilities and SAP customer requirements; translate findings into clear, actionable input for Product and Engineering. Our Technology Stack : SAP BTP (Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh), SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Service Cloud, SAP CRM, OData v2/v4, REST, SOAP, OAuth2 / SAP IAS, Microsoft Azure, TypeScript / Node.js, Kubernetes Who you are: 5+ years of professional experience in SAP integration engineering, SAP BTP development, or SAP technical consulting, with a track record of delivering integrations in live enterprise environments. Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite (formerly CPI): designing, building, and operating iFlows, API proxies, and event-based integration scenarios. Solid understanding of SAP data models and APIs across one or more relevant products: S/4HANA, ECC, Service Cloud, or CRM. Proficiency with integration protocols and standards: OData (v2 and v4), REST, SOAP, OAuth2, and SAP IAS/XSUAA authentication patterns. Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high-responsibility customer environments—able to own integration challenges end-to-end and drive them to resolution across multiple stakeholders. Clear communicator with both SAP-native engineers and non-technical business stakeholders—able to translate integration complexity into decisions and delivery. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Strong plus: Experience with conversational AI, contact center platforms, or CX technology stacks in an SAP context. Strong plus: Familiarity with SAP AI Core, SAP Agent Builder, or similar AI extensions within the SAP ecosystem. Strong plus: Experience working with or for SAP system integrators in a delivery or presales engineering capacity. Our recruiting p
