WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead development of end-to-end test automation and validation frameworks for fixed income trading and position management systems, building impact and reliability into the core workflow
Build robust data validation, pricing, and risk-integrity tests that trace profit and loss impacts across the full trade lifecycle
Design and grow scalable test infrastructure and tooling, including messaging and API simulators, synthetic market data feeds, and continuous integration and delivery integrations
Partner with portfolio managers, traders, quantitative researchers, and software engineers to translate business workflows and risk scenarios into automated test suites
Own release-quality sign-off for changes that affect pricing, risk, or position accounting and drive regression and acceptance strategies
Develop and maintain production monitoring and post-deploy checks to detect data drift, pricing regressions, and risk anomalies
Investigate production incidents, lead root-cause analysis, and implement preventive automated tests and controls
Mentor and collaborate with engineers and QA peers to raise automation standards, improve test coverage, and reduce manual effort through reusable tooling
Explore and apply modern automation technologies, including large language models and observability tooling, to accelerate testing and reduce time to detection
WHAT'S REQUIRED
5+ years of experience in quality assurance with a strong background in test automation and software engineering
Strong programming skills for building automation, data validation, and test infrastructure (proficiency in one or more languages such as Python, Java, or C#)
Comprehensive expertise in fixed income products, trade lifecycle, and position management concepts
Familiarity with profit and loss fundamentals and how pricing and risk changes cascade across related products
Experience with trading and position management systems such as Orchestrade, Murex, or Geneva
Proficiency with SQL, messaging technologies such as Kafka and Solace, RESTful APIs, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines
Clear understanding of the software development lifecycle, test lifecycle, and established testing methodologies
Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks and integrating tests into build and release pipelines
Comfort using modern automation tooling, including large language models and scripting tools, and demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings to business stakeholders, strong attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
