About the role We are seeking a Head of Integrated Marketing to lead all marketing efforts for Claude, Anthropic's flagship AI assistant. As the marketing leader for Claude, you will develop and execute the comprehensive marketing vision and strategy that drives awareness, preference and adoption for Claude across our core prosumer audiences. You will lead a team spanning brand, growth, and organic channels, working in close partnership with product, research, communications, sales, and executive leadership to establish Claude as the preferred choice. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can balance visionary thinking with operational excellence. You will set the marketing strategy, build and inspire high-performing teams, and create integrated marketing programs that tell Claude's story compellingly while driving measurable business outcomes. This role requires someone who can operate at both the highest strategic level—defining positioning and go-to-market approaches—and dive into execution details when needed. Responsibilities Define and own the comprehensive marketing strategy driving business outcomes for Claude Lead and develop a team of marketing professionals across multiple disciplines, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and data-driven decision-making Establish Claude's positioning in the market and develop messaging frameworks that differentiate Claude from competitors while authentically communicating Anthropic's commitment to AI safety Drive integrated marketing campaigns that build awareness, generate demand, and accelerate adoption across technical and non-technical prosumer segments  Partner with product leadership to develop go-to-market strategies for new Claude capabilities and product features Build measurement frameworks and establish KPIs to track marketing effectiveness, regularly analyzing performance and optimizing strategies Own the marketing budget, allocating resources to maximize ROI across brand building, growth initiatives, and emerging opportunities Work closely with communications and policy teams to ensure marketing narratives align with Anthropic's broader mission and public commitments Identify strategic partnership and collaboration opportunities that extend Claude's reach and cultural relevance Represent marketing in executive forums, providing strategic counsel on market dynamics, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities Stay ahead of trends in AI adoption, marketing technology, and cultural shifts to inform forward-looking strategies You may be a good fit if you have 15+ years of marketing experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing the full marketing funnel Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing marketing teams at fast growth technology companies Experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes, scaling products in global markets Demonstrated success leading diverse teams across brand, growth, product marketing, and content/social functions Strong strategic thinking abilities with the capacity to translate company vision into actionable marketing plans Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization Experience marketing complex, technical products to both consumer and enterprise audiences Track record of driving business results in competitive, rapidly evolving markets Data-driven decision-making approach with comfort analyzing metrics and deriving actionable insights Proven ability to manage significant budgets and optimize resource allocation Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working closely with product, sales, and executive teams Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and adapting strategies as markets and products evolve Deep passion for AI and its potential to positively impact society Strong candidates may also have Experience marketing AI, machine learning, or other emerging technology products Understanding of the AI safety landscape and experience communicating about responsible AI development Background in consumer technology products with large-scale adoption Experienc
