About this role
ZoomInfo is where careers accelerate. We move fast, think boldly, and empower you to do the best work of your life. You’ll be surrounded by teammates who care deeply, challenge each other, and celebrate wins. With tools that amplify your impact and a culture that backs your ambition, you won’t just contribute. You’ll make things happen–fast.
We're building a finance function where automation and AI handle the routine, freeing the team to focus on insight, decision support, and the work that actually moves the business. Our data foundation is solid. Our AI platform is real, hardened and in production. Now we need someone to own our core systems, improve them, and take us to the edge of what is possible.
As a Finance Systems & AI Lead, you'll own the governance, maintenance, and optimization of our FP&A tech stack - centered on Microsoft Fabric and our internal AI platform. You'll be the architect of what's next: agentic workflows, intelligent automation, and AI-embedded systems that make our finance team genuinely faster and sharper. You will build, ship and own outcomes end-to-end, and you will empower the team to do the same.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Systems Ownership & Governance
Own the end-to-end architecture and governance of our FP&A tech stack, including Microsoft Fabric and our internal AI platform
Lead platform enhancements and infrastructure improvements with scalability and long-term maintainability in mind
Partner with Finance, IT, engineering and business stakeholders to ensure systems continuously meet operational and strategic needs
AI & Agentic Workflow Development
Drive our evolution toward agentic finance - designing and deploying autonomous workflows that automate reporting, insight generation, forecasting, variance analysis, and beyond
Build AI-integrated tools, agents and apps (within our AI Platform) embedded directly into Finance workflows
Establish evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and responsible AI practices to ensure outputs are reliable, auditable, and compliant
Data Engineering & Modeling
Design and maintain star-schema data models in Microsoft Fabric; write SQL stored procedures for transformations, forecast calculations, and financial logic
Build and optimize data pipelines connecting to Snowflake or other source systems
Develop semantic models in Fabric / Power BI to support Finance and executive reporting surfaces
FP&A Enablement
Be the force multiplier for the FP&A team- eliminating friction from recurring workflows so we can spend our time on insight, not maintenance
Enable the team to build dashboards, automation tools, agents, and applications that compound the team's output
Work closely with FP&A and Corp Finance to understand process pain points and engineer durable solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
Technical depth. You are hands-on by default. You write SQL, build data pipelines, and work with LLMs in production. You've built things in Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or equivalent cloud-native data platforms. You understand how financial data flows from source systems to models to decisions and you architect with that full picture in mind.
AI fluency. You don't just use AI tools, you build with them. You've shipped agentic workflows or AI-integrated applications in a real professional setting. You stay current on what's newly possible and you translate that curiosity into things that actually work and scale.
Finance instinct. You understand FP&A well enough to know what the team actually needs before they can fully articulate it. You've worked alongside or within finance organizations and can speak the language of forecasts, variance analysis, and business drivers without a translator.
Platform expertise. You have hands-on experience with at least one FP&A/Enterprise Planning Management platform (e.g. Anaplan, Pigment, Workday Adaptive, Oracle EPM, or similar) and you understand how modern planning systems are architected and integrated.
Ownership mentality. You proactively identify gaps, drive improvements and don't leave a degraded process for someone else to inherit.
QUALIFICATIONS
4–6 years of experience blending finance systems, data engineering, and AI/ML with demonstrated hands-on delivery throughout
Proficiency in SQL and/or DAX; comfortable building dimensional data models, writing stored procedures & CTEs, and scripting automation end-to-end
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or equivalent cloud-native data platform tooling
Experience building with LLMs in production, including prompt engineering, agentic frameworks, and evaluation/guardrail design
Active, daily AI user- leveraging tools like Claude Code/Cowork, ChatGPT, or Cursor as part of a professional workflow for coding, analysis, research, or documentation.
Power BI semantic modeling and dashboard development experience
Strong communicator - able to bridge finance and technical stakeholders clearly and credibly
