The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:
We are seeking an outstanding Finance Data Analyst with 6+ years of experience to join our dynamic Finance team. This role will report to the Business Intelligence Director and will partner proactively with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization, including Executive Leadership, FP&A, GTM, Engineering, and Data teams.
The Opportunity:
Translate complex revenue and financial data into clear, executive-ready insights that inform company strategy and performance management
Own and enhance executive-level reporting, including Board materials and standardized reporting frameworks that ensure consistency, accuracy, and audit readiness
Design and build scalable dashboards, reporting tools, and curated datasets that enable self-serve analysis for the CFO and FP&A teams
Partner closely with the CFO, FP&A, GTM, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver high-impact ad hoc analyses that answer critical business questions around revenue performance and forecast accuracy
Maintain and enhance data pipelines from upstream engineering systems (product databases, CRM, billing platforms, etc.) into the Finance Data warehouse, ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, and reliability
Establish and enforce audit-compliant data governance practices, including role-based access controls and proper documentation for the Finance Data warehouse and reporting environments
Serve as a steward of trusted revenue data, ensuring consistency between operational systems, the data warehouse, and financial reporting
Identify key business trends, risks, and opportunities through structured modeling and data-driven storytelling
How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?
BA/BS degree in a quantitative field such as economics, mathematics, statistics, finance, computer science, or equivalent applied experience
6+ years of experience in quantitative analysis in tech, finance, consulting, or similar analytical environments
Deep expertise in working with large datasets, with strong Excel and SQL skills
Hands-on experience maintaining data pipelines and working with modern cloud data environments such as Azure Fabric, GCP, and BigQuery
Proven track record of building actionable dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI (preferred) or similar visualization tools
Experience implementing or managing data governance controls, including user access management and audit-ready reporting environments
Strong understanding of revenue analytics, including customer-level performance, cohort analysis, forecasting support, and KPI tracking
Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis and clear, defensible insights
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity, reconciliation, and compliance with financial reporting standards
Bonus Points
Experience integrating data across CRM, billing, ERP, and engineering systems
Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud data platforms
Proficiency in Python (or similar language) for automation and data analysis
Familiarity with SaaS or adtech revenue models
Experience preparing data environments for SOX or public-company reporting readiness

In accordance with various state laws, the range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
Base Pay Range:
$128,000 — $175,000 USD
