Engineering Manager, Data Platform

About the Role: In this role, Leading a team of A+ engineers who are passionate about building highly scalable distributed systems, and contributing to the open-source Apache Pinot software in addition to the following areas: Building real-time database/data system internals Query engine optimization, compilation, and execution Data ingestion, storage, modeling, and indexing services Building scalable, low latency, distributed systems Creating automation and abstraction self-service tooling What we’re looking for: 8+ years of experience in building / operating distributed systems engineering, 5+ as TLM Strong expertise in distributed systems, OLTP and/or OLAP Databases, real-time analytics, or streaming systems. Ability to balance technical depth with people leadership and execution management.
