The opportunity
The vision for this opportunity is to create an intelligent system that operates in an experimental material science setting. Your core responsibility will be to lead the development of an agentic system for materials development, enhancing reasoning and planning throughout the development process, encompassing data acquisition, model evaluation, pre- and post-training, supervised fine-tuning, reward modeling, and reinforcement learning to drive overall performance of the system.
Your expertise will contribute to the broader research community through publications in top-tier AI/ML venues like NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR, alongside active participation in conferences and workshops. This role offers the unique opportunity to mentor and guide junior members of our technical team and research interns, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
Positions are available at various levels of seniority: Senior, Staff, and Principal.
