About The Role:
The Senior Deployment Specialist will be responsible for supporting the execution of Agility's deployment strategy as well as performing robot operation onsite, general repair, troubleshooting, and support roles. This includes all technical services (at both Agility and customer sites), facilitating success in the following areas: Deployment, Break-Fix Support, Help Desk services, and all areas that will be needed to achieve the objectives of the business, achieving year-on-year growth. The candidate is responsible for helping to define, implement, and monitor processes and procedures required for successful service delivery and fleet management.

About The Work:
Support the day-to-day robot operations and service delivery for all robots including troubleshooting and repair
Lead all robot activities for media events and customer demonstrations
Support cross-functional teams to perform root cause analyses
Gather metrics and KPI's for key elements to assess the quality of products and assist in operational process improvements
Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of cross-functional training, work instructions, best practices, and procedures to ensure consistency with customer needs, company goals, and industry best practices
Identify and communicate resource needs and gaps for successful deployments
Continually assess service performance levels and take timely action to remove performance barriers and reinforce procedures, policies, and guidelines
Work with the engineering, service, and production teams to develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance schedules including part consumption and order tracking along with long term forecasting
Engage in cross-department communication to address emergent issues and service needs
Support engineering and operations with testing and performance management
Other activities as defined by manager to ensure successful deployments/events
This remotely-based role requires extensive travel (75-100%).
About You:
Bachelors degree or equivalent technical degree or experience
Mechatronics troubleshooting, root causing, maintenance and repair
Excellent hand tool skills
Providing clear direction and detailed updates to management
Operating in a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines
Working both independently and collaboratively in a remote workforce environment
Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to follow cross departmental standard operating procedures
Experience traveling independently
Excellent customer communication skills
Bonus Points:
Providing technical services to autonomous systems
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience with project improvement methodologies
Proficiency in using Google Suite and the Linux Operating System
Experience supporting high uptime (24/7), high-reliability systems in customer facilities
This is an onsite position at our Pittsburgh office.
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Agility Robotics is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions who work in other locations. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Anticipated Base Salary Range
$83,000 — $108,000 USD
