About this role
ABOUT ABRIDGE
Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform was purpose-built for medical conversations, improving clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on what matters most—their patients.
Our enterprise-grade technology transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Powered by Linked Evidence and our purpose-built, auditable AI, we are the only company that maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. As pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, we are setting the industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI across health systems.
We are a growing team of practicing MDs, AI scientists, PhDs, creatives, technologists, and engineers working together to empower people and make care make more sense. We have offices located in the Mission District in San Francisco, the SoHo neighborhood of New York, and East Liberty in Pittsburgh.
THE ROLE
Abridge is experiencing rapid growth across all areas, and we are looking for a dynamic Executive Operations Partner to strategically support our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This hybrid role, based in San Francisco, is integral to driving operational efficiency, ensuring that our CTO is well-supported and equipped to meet the company’s fast-paced demands. You will manage high-level administrative needs while playing a critical role in optimizing processes and enabling the growth of the leadership team. Your work will directly impact Abridge’s ability to scale quickly and effectively, and you will report directly to the CTO. You may also eventually support at least one additional Vice President.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Executive Support & Calendar Management: You will oversee and optimize the calendars of the CTO ensuring time is allocated efficiently and priorities are managed. In our hybrid working environment, you will stay attuned to team dynamics, while managing meeting follow-ups and driving open action items to completion. You’ll also support team culture and engagement by coordinating activities, celebrations, and ensuring the leader stays connected with staff through timely responses and recognition on Slack.
- Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement: You’ll manage logistics for meetings, travel, and events, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure your executives are always prepared and aligned.
- Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement: You’ll collaborate with the Executive Operations Partners across the company to streamline administrative processes, proactively identify gaps, and implement solutions that drive operational excellence. You will also provide help to other Executive Operations partners for team events like offsites and company events, as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Experience: 10+ years in roles supporting leadership, such as Executive Business Partner, Executive Assistant, or Executive Operations, with proven success in dynamic environments.
- Startup Mentality: Experience in high-growth or early-stage startup environments where flexibility and adaptability are essential. You are resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and have grit! You thrive in an environment where continuous learning and growth are core values, and you bring that mindset to your work and collaboration.
- Leadership Support Expertise: Experience serving as a true extension of the executive — managing their time, anticipating needs, and providing strategic recommendations that directly impact their success.
- Organizational Mastery: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage schedules, travel logistics, and multiple projects simultaneously — always closing the loop and ensuring the executive never has to chase a status update.
- Strong Communication: A skilled writer and communicator — clear, concise, and confident in both verbal and written form, with an ability to establish and build trust across all levels of the company.
- Discretion and Sound Judgment: Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion in handling sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality, and exercising sound judgment in all interactions and decision-making.
