The data spans on-chain activity, fiat deposits and withdrawals, trading behaviour, account access patterns, device intelligence, identity information, and customer interactions—signals that very few organizations can analyze together.\n The problems are complex, adversarial, and constantly evolving. Models must identify emerging fraud patterns, scams, account takeovers, payment abuse, and other forms of financial risk while minimizing disruption to legitimate customers. Success is not measured only through offline model metrics. It is measured through prevented losses, improved approval rates, reduced false positives, faster investigations, and more reliable customer experiences. \n This role sits within a multidisciplinary risk team of machine learning engineers, data scientists, risk strategy specialists, analytics engineers, product managers, and operations teams. You will work across the full ML lifecycle—from problem formulation, feature engineering, and model development to real-time deployment, monitoring, experimentation, and continuous iteration.\n You will also help shape how AI is used across the risk organization. LLM-assisted development, automated model workflows, AI-powered investigations, and intelligent review agents are part of the team’s daily work. We are looking for engineers who already use these tools effectively and can help establish safe, scalable, and production-ready AI practices.\n  \n \n \n What You’ll Be Doing\n \n \n Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for risk use cases such as payment fraud, account takeover, scam detection, deposit and withdrawal risk, promotional abuse, customer risk assessment, and transaction monitoring.\n \n Own production ML systems end to end, including feature pipelines, training workflows, model serving, decision integrations, monitoring, alerting, drift detection, retraining, and incident response.\n \n Partner with risk strategy and product teams to translate models into effective production controls, including approval, rejection, review, cooldown, limit adjustment, account restriction, and other risk mitigation actions.\n \n Work closely with risk operations teams to understand investigation workflows, incorporate reviewer feedback, improve model explainability, and continuously refine labels and training data.\n \n Apply AI-assisted development throughout the engineering workflow, using LLM coding tools to accelerate implementation, testing, debugging, analysis, and documentation while maintaining appropriate security and review standards.\n \n Develop AI-powered risk capabilities such as investigation agents, case summarization, evidence collection, review recommendations, alert triage, suspicious-entity mining, and automated decision support.\n \n Take research-stage models into reliable production systems by validating feature logic, reviewing data quality, addressing latency and scalability constraints, and ensuring consistency between offline training and online inference.\n \n Ensure models and decision systems are explainable, traceable, and well documented so that model outputs can be understood by risk operations, product stakeholders, internal governance teams, and regulators where applicable.\n \n Design, build, and deploy LLM-based agents for risk operations and investigation workflows, including case triage, evidence retrieval, transaction analysis, alert summarization, review recommendations, and automated action orchestration.\n \n Develop production-grade agent architectures using tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, workflow orchestration, structured outputs, memory, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop controls.\n \n Build evaluation frameworks for LLM agents, measuring factual accuracy, task completion, decision consistency, latency, cost, reviewer acceptance, and operational impact. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.\n About the role\n Anthropic's Application Security team secures the systems that build, serve, and increasingly are Claude — and as Anthropic's footprint grows, that mandate now extends to companies and codebases we bring in from outside. This role establishes that function.\n You'll own security due diligence and secure integration for Anthropic's acquisitions — assessing a target's security posture pre-close, writing the security risk readout for leadership, and after close, bringing acquired systems up to Anthropic's bar. Security has been part of every deal to date, but this is the first dedicated role for it: you'll formalize the playbook, the risk model, and the tooling, and make them repeatable.\n This is an AppSec role first. You'll be an active member of the Application Security team — same rituals, same on-run rotation, same tooling, working alongside engineers securing Anthropic's own agentic product surfaces. The expectation is the same too: we use Claude as our primary tool, and you're expected to automate the repeatable parts of diligence and integration as you go, so each acquisition is easier than the last. When deal flow is quiet, you'll pick up core AppSec project work; when it's active, M\u0026A is your priority.\n We're upfront that the center of gravity here is M\u0026A rather than core product security. It's burstier, more assessment-heavy, and operates on confidential, time-sensitive work. If you like parachuting into an unfamiliar codebase under time pressure and turning it into a clear risk picture for leadership, this is that job.\n Key responsibilities\n \n Lead pre-close security due diligence on prospective acquisitions — coordinate external penetration testing, threat-model the target's architecture, assess security controls, and deliver the security risk readout for leadership ahead of close and integration planning\n Drive post-close security integration — stand up static and dynamic analysis coverage on acquired codebases, track high- and critical-severity remediation to closure, fold acquired assets into bug bounty scope, and onboard repositories to Anthropic's automated vulnerability remediation and reporting systems\n Coordinate adjacent security engineering teams (supply chain, cloud, corporate security, detection \u0026 response) on their portions of each integration\n Work across a wide set of stakeholders on every deal — corporate development, legal, security leadership, and the engineering teams inheriting acquired systems internally; engineering and security counterparts at the target company externally — translating between them and keeping the security workstream legible to all of them\n Formalize and scale Anthropic's M\u0026A security playbook — risk-scoring model, diligence runbook, integration checklist — and turn as much of it as possible into Claude-powered tooling rather than manual process\n Share the team's operational on-run rotation (bug bounty escalations, launch consults, incident response), swapping out during periods of active deal work\n Contribute to core AppSec projects between deals — secure design reviews, threat modeling for agentic systems, and the team's security automation roadmap\n \n Minimum qualifications\n \n Hands-on application and infrastructure security experience, including cloud and containerized environments\n Demonstrated ability to rapidly assess an unfamiliar codebase or architecture and produce a clear, prioritized risk assessment for a non-security audience\n Production-quality coding ability in at least one of Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript\n Practical threat-modeling and vulnerability-identification skills — you've found and reasoned about real bugs in real systems\n Comfort operating with high autonomy, ambiguity, and tightly-held confidential context\n Clear written and verbal communication across varied audiences — executives, legal and corporate development partners, and engineering counterparts at an acquired company\n \n Preferred qualifications\n \n 7+ years in application security, security consulting, or security architecture\n Prior M\u0026A security due diligence, third-party security assessment, or technical due diligence experience\n Experience standing up or scaling SAST/DAST, bug bounty, or vulnerability management coverage across multiple codebases\n Track record of building security automation or tooling rather than relying solely on manual review\n Familiarity with using LLMs as a core part of your security workflow\n Experience securing agentic, code-execution, or LLM-integrated systems\n \n Representative projects\n \n Point Anthropic's internal LLM-driven code analysis and AI-assisted scanning at an a","salary_min":320000,"salary_max":485000,"location":"San Francisco, CA","workplace":"hybrid","remote_scope":"not_remote","job_type":"full-time","experience_level":"lead","tags":["alignment","agents","security","llm"],"apply_url":"https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/anthropic/jobs/5311463008","is_featured":false,"is_sticky":false,"status":"active","published_at":"2026-07-10T19:05:32Z","expires_at":"2026-08-15T14:00:37.621486Z","created_at":"2026-07-12T14:00:31.037737Z","updated_at":"2026-07-16T14:00:37.739973Z","company_name":"Anthropic","company_slug":"anthropic","company_logo_url":"https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=anthropic.com\u0026sz=128","quality_score":90,"url":"https://aidevboard.com/job/cf91d42b-0197-48eb-98e4-035f8da8d708"},{"id":"5e2a1a2e-0a5c-4e85-b7ac-b319a84dbd55","company_id":"3da82454-107f-427f-88e7-01f315ef93fb","title":"Member of Technical Staff - Security","slug":"member-of-technical-staff-security-18bb5dcb","description":"OWN YOUR INTELLIGENCE\n\n\n\nPrime Intellect is building the open superintelligence stack: the infrastructure frontier AI labs build internally, made available to every ambitious AI team.\n\n\n\nOur platform, Lab, unifies compute, environments, evaluations, secure sandboxes, high-performance training, and deployment into one full-stack system for post-training at frontier scale - from SFT and RL to tool use, agent workflows, and continuously improving production models. As AI reshapes how organizations build, operate, and innovate, the responsibility to protect them becomes more critical than ever. When you join SentinelOne, your work helps protect global enterprises, critical infrastructure, and the technologies shaping tomorrow. If you are motivated by meaningful challenges and want your impact to be real, measurable, and global, you will find purpose here.\n About Us \n SentinelOne is a company at the intersection of AI and security, pioneering a new operating model for cybersecurity. Our AI-native platform unifies protection across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and AI systems to deliver autonomous detection and response with clarity and speed. By combining real-time analytics, intelligent automation, and a unified data foundation, we reduce noise, simplify complexity, and empower security teams to focus on what truly matters.\n Our teams are builders, problem-solvers, and innovators committed to shaping the future of security. If you are excited to solve hard problems alongside talented, mission-driven people, we invite you to help us build a safer future for humanity.\n What Are We Looking For? \n We’re looking for people who are relentlessly curious and committed to continuous learning. AI is reshaping every function across our business, and we enable every team member, regardless of role or level, to build fluency in AI tools and concepts. Those who thrive here actively seek out new solutions, experiment thoughtfully, and apply what they learn to drive better, faster, smarter outcomes.\n As Sr. Director, AI Enterprise Platform Engineering, you will build the AI foundation that every internal AI use case runs on top of. The platform you create will be the control plane through which all AI activity at SentinelOne is governed, observed, secured, and scaled — serving both custom-developed AI applications built by SentinelOne engineering teams and vendor-deployed AI solutions such as Claude Enterprise and Gemini Enterprise.\n What Will You Do?\n Primary responsibilities include :  \n \n Own and execute the roadmap for SentinelOne's enterprise AI platform — the Gateway, Harness, and Semantic Layers — moving us from direct-to-LLM connections to a governed, multi-model control plane.\n Design and build the AI Gateway layer: centralized identity and AuthN/Z, token budgeting, DLP and content guardrails, multi-model routing and failover, MCP allow-listing, and a full audit trail across every AI request.\n Build and operate the Harness layer: agent orchestration (LangGraph or equivalent), prompt construction and context management, memory and state across multi-turn interactions, model abstraction across Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others via providers such as AWS Bedrock and Vertex, and MCP/tool wiring for internal and SaaS-embedded agents. \n Own the technical roadmap for SentinelOne's Claude \u0026 Gemini Enterprise plugin framework — a growing library of role-based skills and agents that surface AI capabilities to employees in the context of their specific roles. This includes expanding coverage across more roles and use cases, maturing the way plugins are securely authored, tested, and deployed, and continuously improving the quality and reliability of each plugin's outputs.\n Partner closely with Enterprise Data, Enterprise Apps, Product Development, and Infosec to connect the platform to governed data sources, align on security controls, and ensure every integration is built on shared architectural contracts.\n Govern how agents — whether user-instantiated in Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI products, engineered by SentinelOne teams, embedded in SaaS platforms, or arriving from external partners — interact with our systems, ensuring every caller passes through the same policy controls regardless of origin.\n Hire, mentor, and technically lead a team of engineers; set standards, review architecture decisions, and create an environment where strong engineers do their best work.\n Communicate platform status, architecture decisions, and risk posture clearly to executive stakeholders.\n \n What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?\n Ideal candidates will have: \n \n You have built at least one production platform — AI or otherwise — that enforced centralized policy across multiple consumers: auth/AuthN/Z, rate limiting, observability, and audit logging. Bonus if that platform touched AI specifically (LLM gateway, model routing, or orchestration), but strong candidates from API platform, data platform, or developer platform backgrounds are equally welcome. What matters is that you can describe what you built, the tradeoffs you made, and what you'd do differently.\n Hands-on depth in agent orchestration (LangGraph or equivalent), including experience routing to hosted model providers such as AWS Bedrock and Google Vertex.
